Contributing and editing the blog
Let's get this blog started!! Adding content to your new site is easy. Whether its to post about an upcoming meeting, a survey to the community, or anything else, uploading is a breeze. Simply click on the dashboard link at the bottom of each page to get started. Once the website is set up completely, this section of the website will be protected by a password. Follow through with the simple process on the form by adding the information relavant to your content. Alternatively to using the uploader (maybe you have the content already in a word document, or you have large images) please email your content to hello@huntly.co.nz, with the subject “HCB Content”. To make edits to blog posts or other aspects of the site at any time, choose the “make a change” option when filling out the form. How your blog functions
How your blog works for you! As explained in the previous post (click here), your blog can be organised into different categories. Blog posts can feature any content you have to showcase. From event dates and details, to media like images and video, along with interactive elements like polls and forms. The event calendar on the home page works in tandem, Once a blog post is made, a calendar event can also be made for the relevant date with a link to the blog post. This is handy for posting about community board meetings, creating a post with the details regarding the meeting, a event posted to the calendar on the home page, and the blog post shared to social media.
